I always felt California holds a very distinct identity, or "essence", that makes it a very special place. In my opinion, California is slowly being transformed by modernization but it still holds its distinctive features, hidden among and beneath the new prefabricated buildings, the personality-lacking new cars, the way people dress... Glimpses of California is an open project that keeps on growing slowly year by year: a personal and intimate trip through a changing world.
